Well guys, I have to say that I like the new PA announcer. I have been to the Rox two home games now and he is so much better than the guy last year. He had me when he went old school during the home opener ("Allright Houston, on your feet....). I think he blends in well with the crowd and doesn't act annoying. Anyways, what do you guys think???

Question, was it a good environment "rowdy" at the game tonight? Cause it sounded so quiet on TV

well i thought you sounded great!

    lol

actually, as a TV follower (from NYC) i think the rowdies make a difference. the biggest difference being that last season i was able to hear the ball bounsing and the sneakers squeeking. this season you hear the fans, for the most part.

I honestly think they need to start micing the Rowdy section. Not all the way through, but you could replace a bunch of the generic stuff with Rowdy chanting and I think it'd be far more effective.

As long as this new dude doesn't yell out "defense" and then when the crowd barely responds he lamely says "louder", or yells out "whose ball is it" when there's a turnover by the oponents then he is cool in my book.

I heard him on TV during the player introductions and all I heard was Tracy, but that was enough for me to know they got a new, better PA guy.

I really like him, he is loud,he actually screms and does a professional solid job. Makes you realize how weak T-gray was.

I'd be glad to have this guy doing the lineups on TV for the world to see during the NBA Finals. :D

I loved how we had a couple of Rockets employees that would always come in here and tell us how great of a job the old guy was doing and how the NBA always told them how great T-Gray was. I could tell just by watching on league pass that the old guy was complete and utter garbage as an NBA announcer.
