However, don't worry - I will make sure that Chuck knows that you want to start negotiations with the players you mentioned.

Well, you can always extend offers; it's just that the game has it to where no one will listen in the first month. Considering that a sim is 2 weeks, it won't be long before they will listen. Also, Chuck always takes 3 days to a week after the World Series is over to let people get in any re-signings or forever remain silent. Now, if we can just finish the draft....

If I'm not mistaken DHR - this does not mean he wont consider your offer - he would just like more dinero to play with you than other teams. Of course, as you say, he might change his mind later.
