Yeah it's been all over the TV lately, pretty hot commercial.

Nothing to worry about though, T-Mac is better than any of those scrubs. :D

And adidas shoes are more innovative than Nike's.

you totally missed the point of the commercial. the commercial is actually very creative. the significance of them playing in an airport hangar is because of the shoe they are promoting which is the "nike air force 25." the shoe is named after the "nike air force 1" shoe which was originally released in 1982, 25 years ago. the air force 1 is one of nike's most successful and popular shoes ever and to commemorate 25 years of that shoe, they just released the nike air force 25. the whole idea of having all the players walk outside of the hangar with airplanes all around and then them playing basketball on a court inside an airport hangar is pretty creative.

I think what's tight is THEY would make a SWEET pick up game.. I'd really like to see that game.. They got enough for 5 on each team and are well balanced in the positions.. I bet it'd make for a competitive game!

I was there for that first clip. It really happened. He shot it left-handed in the rain with 45 dudes in his face.

That song on that nike commercial is hard as hell. I had to download it the moment I heard it.

Adidas makes pretty good -- and memorable -- commercials as of late. Nike is still struggling in the post-Jordan era to find that one transcendent personality that can re-revolutionize the industry, like Jordan did.

I actually think McGrady's best commercial was when he was with Orlando. He had a very nice/catchy beat in the background (it's the Clipse's "what happened to that boy" I think) and he was saying something like, "I don't care if I score 50 or 5 points, as long as I win"...then he pauses and says, "well, may be 35!" I have always likes that one, but can't the clip anywhere.

Regardless, since the MJ days no one has had better commercials than Iverson...Reebok has done a great job marketing his image to the public, even though they make -- or used to -- some sucky shoes.

I think it looks pretty freaking stupid. Kept expecting doves to fly across the screen.

They should show them getting their asses handed to them by argentina or whoever.

Ah, but you forget that Nash is on the commercial's team. :)

IMO, those Addidas "it takes five" ads are corny as hell.

I agree that its kind of lame. The idea of them being in an airfield just because it is the nike air is silly, almost all of nike's shoes have been called the "air ___" so the connection is too easy, it's like if Mac did a commercial with a giant letter "i". and the 25 years part? we celebrate 5 year, 10 year, 15 year, and 20 year anniversaries for everything, having one every 5 years doesn't make it so special anymore. An air hangar might have been creative if they hadn't done the soccer one where they were in an abandoned tanker at sea. Will it still be creative if they make another commercial using basketballs as percussion instruments but make it inferior to the first commercial?

The rap seemed kind of unpolished too, it would have been awesome if it was on freestyle friday, but the rhymes are pretty uncreative and so is the rythm. Also, they may have got all of those guys to walk down the field together, but they aren't all playing basketball on the court together. I noticed the first time around that they weren't all on the court together, and they compensate this by reusing the same footage or having distant blurry shots so you can't see all the players on the floor. I think at most they had five of those guys on the floor at the same time in the studio, and then they edited everyone else in.

I'd take adidas' five over any of the nike's five any day in a game of basketball

    Duncan
    Garnett
    McGrady
    Arenas
    Billups

    vs.

    Jermaine O'Neal
    Amare
    Lebron
    Kobe
    Nash

wouldn't that be fun to watch?

Reebok signed a big contract with Yao, right?

How come I don't see any commercials Reebok made for Yao whatsoever? Does Yao have any shoes featuring him for sale?

How the hell does Reebok make money from Yao?
