It stars Paul Giamtti and Bryce Dallas Howard from The Village.

The trailer doesn't spoil anything (unlike some of the trailers for the Village).

BTW, when you are visiting the official website, DO NOT CLICK ON SYNOPSIS. I'm not sure, but it seems a twist may have been revealed in the description. But just watching the trailer is safe, though.

    *lol*

Wow, that one letter changed the whole meaning of your post. :)

I'm not against twists in general, just dumb ones.

    Let's see,

    Sixth Sense twist: excellent
    Unbreakable twist: average
    Signs twist: average
    The Village twist: DISGUSTINGLY HORRIBLE

Shyamalan's track record is not too good for twists...

Shyamalan is so overrated. The Sixth Sense was the only good movie he have done, rest of his works are horrible.

He's not overrated. He screwed himself, however, by shackling himself with a 'trait' that is nearly impossible to actually live up to.

A 'surprise twist' only REALLY works when no one even really knows it's coming. Now that that's his trademark it's hell to live up to it....because everyone is looking for it.

I thought after Signs, M Night's next best work was The Village.

I've thought all of his movies were pretty original and good.

    1. Signs
    2. Sixth Sense
    3. Unbreakable
    4. Village

That's what happens when you make such an excellent first movie. Everything else gets compared to it, rather than letting the films stand on their own.

I thought Unbreakable was pretty cool...it was a better superhero movie than Superman, anyways. :p

Signs didn't really have that much of a "twist", did it? The thing about the water was just really exposing the alien's weakness.

I thought The Village was pretty cool. It kind of had a Truman Show feel to it...a "world inside a world".

Just as long as the twist has nothing to do with a character being schizophrenic or having Multiple Personality Disorder, I'm all for it....

I would change them all to horrible.. this guy should do Alfred Hitchcock a favor and STOP jacking his ideas.. Most of this guys work has been modeled after Hitchcocks ideas and writings.. To me Sixth Sense was the best of the bunch, but EVERYTHING was crap after that..

i think Unbreakable is underrated. sixth sense was quite excellent. signs wasn't bad. the mood throughout the movie is what made it decent. now, the Village? let's just say the idiot called and wants his Village back.

Those who hate on "the Village" are pissed b/c they went into it thinking it would be a horror film with lots of blood and freaky scary. I loved "the village", it is his second best film after "Sixth Sense." The guy is a great story teller and director. It's refreshing to watch a movie with a plot rather than a bunch of special effects flying around with no storyline. Those who dislike his movies lack an attention span.
