Maybe not all teams would be able to get a full scrimmage in and those that did would have an edge by seeing the players in a game situation. The various camps, such as Phoenix and Chicago, allow all teams to see game situations. Mango ------------------ Live long and prosper. Donate blood! Now...back to updating The Serious Police Files.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, A new NBA rule prohibits teams from running full five-on-five open-court games with potential draft picks. Anyone have any idea why? The only thing I can think of is to protect the draftees from injury, which might lower their draft position. But I also think this prevents the NBA team from getting a complete picture of the prospect. [This message has been edited by knits stekcor (edited June 16, 2000).]
