I feel like I'm watching Sunday Night Football. It'll never be the same.

I hate to be so judgemental after one half of the new MNF, but does Kornheiser bring anything to the table? I mean, seriously, does he even need to be at the broadcast? His commentary thus far seems to be unnecessary at best, ultra lame at worst....

NBC Sunday Night Football is the new MNF...probably in large part to Madden and Michaels moving over.

I love TK... I'd evaluate him more when there's actually REAL sub-plots going on in the game, and not just pre-season backup players nobody's ever heard of.

Well, since not as many people were watching MNF the last 10 years... it likely wasn't the "same" since Cossell.

If the games are good... the "appearence" of the broadcast will seem good. Pre-season blows.

Theisman will always bring the quality down, so eh.

They should have left it on ABC.....Plus losing Al and Madden hurts big time.

I Agree with the Tony comment. It seems like he doesnt know much about football and is kind of pointless to have. Maybe for people who don't understand football that well.

Same here. I had never watched Sunday Night Football for my lack of cable, but I wasn't missing anything good. Joe Theisman seems to center on one comment for the entire night.

When watching Sunday Night NBC football, I will think I am watching Monday Night and vice versa.

Kornheiser is hardly talking at all, maybe he will add more as the season gets going. I think this new team is alright, it couldn't get any worse than the Sunday night team from last year.

Lol.....If you're talking about the Harold R. incident, I heard from an inside source, that it wasnt a harrassment issue. They wouldnt tell me what it was but swore that wasnt it.... Who knows though. Is there any hard evidence out there now or just rumors?

Dang, Ognil, you're everywhere tonight, man. :D Welcome to CF.net.

yeah, I was talking about that. I don't know the half of it, only that it would be fun to try to get someone to start rumors on Joe snap-crackle-and-pop Theisman so he'd get off the booth.

Actually, Marv is the radio pbp guy for Monday Night Football on the CBS westwood one network... and has been for a few years now. In addition to that, he gets to call the radio call of the Super Bowl.

    "Yes... and it counts."

I hate theismann as always, that guy is just a prick

but it's better than sunday night football at least, cause I can't stand both Mike Patrick and that Paul guy. so that was like a nightmare broadcast for me all those games in the past

I like Tirico solidly enough, and I'm neutral on Kornheiser
