His autobiography to be exact. I can't wait to read it. I'm giddy like a pre-teen waiting for a new Harry Potter volume.
No, that's Twain. rimrocker, That's awesome. I hadn't heard about it. I'll definitely try to get a copy on the first printing, and I almost never worry about that.
A.B. Paine was Twain's secretary and Twain dictated much of the autobiography to him. This book was a small abridged version of the full work we'll see soon.
http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-e...rk-twain-will-finally-reveal-all-1980695.html "One thing's for sure: by delaying publication, the author, who was fond of his celebrity status, has ensured that he'll be gossiped about during the 21st century. A section of the memoir will detail his little-known but scandalous relationship with Isabel Van Kleek Lyon, who became his secretary after the death of his wife Olivia in 1904. Twain was so close to Lyon that she once bought him an electric vibrating sex toy. But she was abruptly sacked in 1909, after the author claimed she had "hypnotised" him into giving her power of attorney over his estate."
My all time favorite author ever. I've read that this work will include more of Twain's thoughts on the Philippines, god, and patriotism. All the stuff that he was the most angry about and the most exceptionally brilliant in his scathing criticism. If it's anything like this, I'll be thrilled.
according to what I read half has already been released. Probably the good parts since the total work is huge. Marketing at it's best.
Twain trying to be like Tupac and create hits as a dead man. This is one I'll have to get. It better be an instant best-seller.
Twain could write scathing criticism like no other. Evidence James Fenimore Cooper's Literary Offenses. He is the greatest American author.
