You know, I think a lot of us have said some pretty nasty things about the Jazz and their fans, whether it was in jest or not. I usually just laughed about it, but man... I got genuine animosity for those guys right at the moment.

Been lurking a little bit over at JazzFanz.com, seeing as we're playing them... and apparently I'm not the only one, because DD is even posting and starting threads and whatnot... but how about this little gem from this thread (removed by moderators):
And there were even one or two people getting behind him on that comment. I mean... wow. As far as I'm concerned, that guy should be lined up and shot.

    F*** Jazz fans.

Every team has idiot fans who are just band wagoners. We're no different. However, some have more than others and Jazz and Lakers fans fall into this category.

thats messed up man... wow... i remember going on a trip to utah with my family (im filipino) we stopped at a restaurant on our way to south dakota and while at the restaurant, the servers told us to sit on the different side of the restaurant because the place where we sat down was "reserved." uhuh... and then all these caucasian folks started checking us out like they've never seen a dark skinned person before.... now im not saying they were racist or anything like that, im not really that judgemental, but, after going through all that, it makes you think yah know? people over there are not very nice, not very classy...

Sloan and his Jazz have been disgracing the great sport of basketball for almost 20 years, simple as that. NBA and Stern do nothing about it and it will continue as long as Sloan is around.
How Jazz fans an actually be proud of their team is beyond me. Maybe if they cheated and actually won a ring at some point it would be different. Eric Cartman's theory, cheat and fail = cheaters, cheat and succeed = savvy. I'm sick to my stomach that the Jazzholes are most likely going to win this series but it does make me feel better knowing that the Jazz will never win a championship. NEVER!!!
Williams will not re-sign when his contract is up (he won't admit it now but he'll pull a Boozer on them when the time comes, it just sux cause he will prolly go to dallas) Boozer is a complete fool for taking that contract when he and Lebron could have possibly created a dynasty or at least get a couple rings. Okur, AK47, Harpring, Korver are Utah type players, see the trend there. As long as they can find a big 'ol uncle tom with skills, they will continue to make the playoffs and lose. But the disgracing of this great sport will continue in Utah and the NBA will continue to do nothing about it. Sad :(

The guys at Jazz Fanz are some of the biggest tools in all of basketball fandom. Some of their posts are just ridiculous.

I hate the jazz too, but seriously...what would you think of Houston fans if you logged into the GARM this week for the first time?

If it makes anyone feel better I sprayed two mormons in my front yard with my water hose on Sunday while I was washing my car.

No means no and next time I will put the hose on "jet" mode. LOL

Haha, that's funny simply because I can imagine their faces when you sprayed them.

My take on Utah is that it's just a giant state of groupthink. I have plenty of Mormon friends, and none of them have even an ounce of racism, or hatred for anything in them. However, they are the ones from Houston, so they've been exposed to everything from a very young age. But when you get a large group of people together that believe in the same things, whenever something different comes along, you don't readily accept it all the time. I can bet that a large portion of Utah's population has never left the state, or really every been around different cultures for long periods of time, so they've never learned anything about them. It's a shame that a state in our country in this day and age can be so isolated, and the people can actively segregate themselves from the rest of the nation....especially based on something like religion.

Same here. When I visited Arches National Park in Utah and went to a restaurant my family (I'm Chinese) was looked upon like we were from out of this world or something... It was awkward having people stare at us like we were aliens or something...

LOL!!! i remember that picture... but hey at least we compared him to a guy with supernatural powers.... Jazz Fans compared T-mac to a "slanted eyed lazy slave" big difference....

Who cares? This is the NBA, were suppose to go against other fans and teams, your making it seem like its bad for a fanbase to root against the player of the opponent

So you're saying "who cares" if fans make derogatory, blatantly racist statements?

I'm cool with saying "Boozer sucks, he can't play D... blah blah blah." I'm not cool with saying Boozer would "even fail as a slave."
