Have yall seen the new commercials with kobe dunking from BEHIND the free throw line? The guy takes off from like the midpt. of the top of the key and the free throw line, and still dunks it with room to spare. It's hard to believe that even Kobe could do something like that... the first time I saw it, it seemed kinda fake, cuz he he jumped higher than I've ever seen anybody else jump before, but then I started thinking - what reason would they have to fake it? The whole purpose is to promote Kobe, and faking it will not do. 1.) Is it real? 2.) Where can I download them? I tried adidas.com but i couldnt really find the exact commercial there
They can promote kobe by being fake. I guess the jist of that commercial is that kobe can jump frther than mj. Well, so can brent barry. kobe is a great player, but if he's better than MJ in his prime, than watch out. merry Christmas for all of us to be blessed by Sir Kobe?
The first two dunks in that commercial look legit, but the third one where he spins in mid air from behind the FT line is fake...Of course, they could get Kobe to dunk from the three point line, but it's STILL not enough to get me to buy $120+ dollar shoes... I wonder if someone could use a computer to get Jason Collier to dunk from the FT line
Have you seen the Powerade commercial where Michael Vick throws the ball and it ends up half way up the stadium seating? I think that is also fake...............maybe, maybe no
the powerade ones are great because they make it look like home video. and you have the guys in the background 'oohing and aaahing'... but then again i love commercials.
Have you seen the new kobes? Those are the ugliest damn shoes. Maybe I'll like them better in person, but the picks at <a href="http://www.kicksology.net">Kicksology</a> are so ugly.
The Michael Vick commercial is fake. They had a review of it in SI a month or two ago, and they pointed out that one of the commercials claims the ball going over 170 yards. Physicists/doctors say that a human can only go as far as 90. The one where people are being knocked down because Vick throws it so hard made me realize that it must be a bunch of BS. That was some funny stuff.
Yes, those are ugly shoes. I swear that as time goes on the shoes get more and more basic. No lines. No logos. No stitching. Eventually shoes will be this seamless piece of leather wrapped around your foot.

I can believe this, but not a 360 from the free throw line. The dunk from in between the arc and free throw line was pretty unbelievable also, but who knows..... We'll find out sometime soon
