They're doing a Knight Rider TV movie, which I hope will be at least be better than Transformers. That said, I like Mustangs and all. Hell. My first two cars were Mustangs. Still, K.I.T.T. should be a Trans Am. I don't know why they couldn't have just brought out a 2001 souped up T.A. for the part. Here are some pics: vs.
I like the look but I just feel K.I.T.T. should have sleeker lines than what is on the mustang. Somehow I feel a euro car would fit the bill a bit better.
Why does it have black rims in one picture and chrome in the other? And where did the spoilers go in the second shot?
I have a really old polaroid somewhere of me sitting in KITT from an auto show in Houston when I was really young. At least the voice of the new KITT is played by GOB. That's awesome.

Me too. I have a really old pic of me sitting in KITT at Universal Studios like 20 years ago. I love Knight Rider, why spoil it with a Mustang? Airwolf rocks too though; I hope that if there is an airwolf remake they keep the chopper as originl as possible.
producers always gotta put their darn creative adaptations in there... thats the thing though with Transformers or Kitt, or anything having to do with normal automobiles. it'll just look dated after a while and you HAVE to update. but at least update to something that makes sense, geez....like a camaro as mentioned
Disagree entirely. While the Dukes of Hazard sucked, it had nothing to do with the car. In fact, it was the only cool thing about the movie.
