I picked this up the other day...curious to see who else has and what you think so far.

The songs that stand out, to me, are Wheel, Split Screen Sadness and Bigger than My Body.

Split Screen Sadness may be this guy's best song ever...or at least the most thoughtful. I've liked Mayer from the start, but I didn't know he was capable of writing a song like that.

I need to post this in the Stuck in Your Head thread, but I've been doing the "whooowhoo whoo...(higher pitched) whooowhoo whoo" from the first song of that CD. :D

I'll let you hear it at lunch MadMax.

Heh, I actually love that song RM95, Clarity was the one song that stuck out the most for me. Something's Missing is good too but heard that in the Any Given Thursday album. Overall, I thought the CD was great. I was a bit dissapointed that it was only like 10 songs compared to a whopping 13 on the first one. But honestly, the best John Mayer song out there is "Comfortable" that was on his Indie CD "Inside Wants Out". Great stuff there.

I think Bigger than my Body, Split Screen Sadness, and Daughters were the best tracks. I like Something's Missing a lot, but the whole "Guitar, check" thing kinda drags the song down at the end.

I used to not like his music, but man, it gets pretty addictive. Comfortable is great, and so is 3x5. I'll be looking for this new CD.

What if he had said "pooper" in the song? Would you still feel the same way?:p :D
