Will they ever have a 3g version. That would kill the battery life. I have a TILT and you have to charge that ho every night or else.
3g = faster internet/data transfer. The current iphone uses edge and wifi...which is actually pretty fast. 3g is also a battery killer...I guess they're working on a more efficient 3g chip so they can charge $600-$700 for a 32gb iphone (later this year).
Apple ain't all that, folks. Steve Jobs is a nazi. He won't let the iphone be all it can be. It has the potential to be THE defacto phone, but because of neutering, it has competition. No kidding- my Tilt just croaks if I don't charge it daily.
Hey jerimiah, Do you use the default dialer or did you download a new one. I hate how small the buttons are.
The buttons and the battery life are my only gripes. I just put this button skin on: Hopefully it's better. It's funny that I was touting the Tilt as better than the iPhone because you didn't have to hack it to get maximum functionality out of it...and I ended up tweaking the hell out of the Tilt to get it the way I wanted it.
i want an ipod touch for when i travel so i can use the wifi to email family/friends. and would want the biggest hard drive i could get. but 500 is just too much for a freaking mp3 player.
Really happy with my iPhone, but it turns out I don't even use the full 8 gigs it has already. So I'm not in any rush to go for the 16.
I love my iPhone, but I could really use some more space for videos/movies. However, I'm not upgrading until iPhone 2.0 (with 3G) comes out. Once the 3G one comes out, I'll bite the bullet and give my old iPhone to my wife.
Did it mess anything up? Is it a simple CAB file to install it or is it a haslte? I used my friends BVoyager for verizon and it dials like a normal phone. I was so jealous.
