So Sports Interactive (developer of CM) is developing a new hockey simulator called Eastside Hockey Manager. It's going to be based on the Championship Manager 3 engine. Anybody interested?
Question: If the ECHL is playable can we add them in? If so I'll take the team I work for, Texas Wildcatters, instead of my previous choices. Also, is there a date for release announced yet?
Castor, Casto, Castor You are a member of SI boards, but I will help you anyway: When is the Release Date? The game is scheduled to be released in Q1 2004. *** So that would probably mean June *** Currently we have research for the following leagues, so we're looking basically for any outwith thst list - if you're looking to share info./expertise on your teams in these leagues then do so via the head researcher. LIST OF LEAGUES United States National Hockey League United States American Hockey League Finland SM-league Sweden Elitserien Canada WHL Canada OHL Canada QMJHL Germany All leagues Finland Mestis Sweden Allsvenskan Great Britain All leagues Finland Suomi-sarja & lower Czech Republic All leagues Switzerland All leagues Denmark All leagues United States East Coast Hockey League France All leagues United States United Hockey League United States Central Hockey League Italy All leagues Austria All leagues Slovakia All leagues Russia All leagues Slovenia All leagues
Yeah but that doesn't mean it will be playable.. I read in another thread that the finalized list of playable leagues was still to be determined. I'll also note that the info in the EHM forum is nowhere near the quality of the CM forums. And they don't even have a list of all of the head researchers. I have no clue who the ECHL HR is. I probably could give him some decent info if needed.
game is actually released in the UK tomorrow. It will be released as a download for non Euro's as well. It will be released on disk in the US sometimes in September. However, they do not have the license for any of the US minor leagues (AHL,ECHL, etc.) They do have some Canadian leagues but because I was anticipating being able to play in the ECHl I probably will not get it until they get a license for them. It has a bunch of the Euro leagues in it but I am not a big fan of them and don't want to waste my money on something I won't have long tern interest in.
I don't know which one you are refering to. No one around here will lower their standards enough to run a basketball sim.
Excuse me? Has someone forgot where this forum came from? It was a single thread, covering the elite fantasy league. Then the sim league wannabes came in and tried to take over. Now, it's back to it's roots, with the elite league still going strong. Sad you say? I say lean and mean, like it's beginnings.
