You can hear the new GNR song from Chinese Democracy on demand on this website: Guns N' Roses - Better Dont think anyone on here cares, but thought I would post anyways. Can't believe the album is finally coming out...This Sunday.
Anyone who likes the cool, refreshing taste of Dr. Pepper... http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003741826
More people than than you think. This album is going to sell really well just because it has been talked about for so long. This was a good choice for a lead single, in my opinion...Not that you would hear it on Houston rock radio. They gotta play Fallout Boy every 30 minutes...
It's about a minute and a half too long and it just sounds like Axle Rose trying to sing a Linkin Park song.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks this album is going to be great. You hear "This I Love" or "Sorry" yet, Macalu?
RMT thinks GnR was a flash in the pan, even though they've had like 3 multi-platinum albums (4 if you count greatest hits), one of which is one of the greatest sellers of all-time and universally regarded as one of the best hard rock albums ever made. Although I don't really consider this new outfit to be Guns N Roses, I'm sure this effort will go platinum as well, over 20 years after the debut. RMT will love that. Actually I think he's just bitter about W. Axl Rose banging one of his girlfriends back in the day when they were both playing on the strip.
I LOVE guns n roses but this isn't them. I'm interested in hearing it but i'll probably "preview" it first and if I enjoy it, then i'll buy a proper copy.
Meh, I've never been a HUGE GNR fan but this song stinks. The guitar riffs aren't bad, but the hook is atrocious.
i think those are the only 2 i haven't heard. but i've been pimpin' this album since the other songs leaked.
The whole thing is now available on your favorite torrent site... I dont feel bad, as Im buying mine on Sunday.
I've listened to the entire album. Upon first listening i would say the rockers are fairly average. The ballads seem to be the strongest part of the album. "Street of Dreams", "Sorry" and "This I Love" really stand out to me. The latter was written in 1993 so i like the feel of it.
I can agree with that. The epics are what makes the album terrific, in my opinion. There Was a Time, This I Love, Prostitute, Street of Dreams, & Sorry are the slowest songs on the record and are my fovorites. This album is very much how I would have expected a Use Your Illusion 3... Going to get my real copy on Sunday. Then watch 24:Redemption that evening...going to be a great day.
