This isn't really about who's the best as of today, but which guy you are most excited about for the future. Brooks: Lightning fast, and has definitely shown at times to be a great scorer. Undersized by height, but not by heart. Ranks for Rookies: pts 15th, FG% 30th, Ast 6th, Reb 37th, Steals 22nd Scola: Has more moves in the paint than most players can even dream of. He also has an okay jumper every now and again. Mostly a great spark to start the game with. Ranks for Rookies: pts 8th, FG% 7th, Ast 11th, Reb 5th, Steals 10th Landry: Tenacious around the rim, but also has a great stroke out to the three point line (My jaw dropped when I saw him hit one today with his heel on the 3pt line). Getting better at staying out of foul trouble. Ranks for Rookies: pts 12th (probably higher after tonight, and rising), FG% 4th, Ast 27th, Reb 7th, Steals 35th, Blks 23rd My personal pick is Landry. He is just so consistent, and I like the attitude that he brings to the game. Perfect off the bench.
Brooks gets MAJOR points for being my friend on Facebook. But Landry has been ELECTRIC. He's brought a physicality that this team has LACKED. Now here's something that none of us expected to hear: Do you guys realize just how stacked this team is at PF!?
This is like flavor of the month. It will keep changing depending on who is doing better at the present time.
I think Scola has been more consistent at winning his shots night after night Landry is being fed for now but he has still a long way to convince me, a couple of matches won´t be enough.
Whichever one is hot for that night. Overall though my favorite is Scola he is so friggen smart on the court, light years ahead in the BBall IQ department than most players. I love watching him play.... I would like to see him dunk....at least once. DD
Gotta love Landry. He is definitely my favorite rookie along with Scola. He brings a lot of energy to the game and i love seeing him finish.
AB got to find his shot, he's been wayyyyy off.....(and i've been saying this ever since he got his playing time from MJ/SF, but still.....)
it is hard to choose , cos all have contributed in no specific order... and I actually like it when Brooks missed his fourth shot in a row...what a combination of guts and decisive mind
Scola has the most low post skills. I think he could put up 20 on a bad team. He is good on the block.
