The hook is horrible as Eminem is not a singer it just sounds really bad as if his voice is not annoying enough. Seems like he tried to draw off the Drop The World song he did with Lil Wayne. Greatest rapper alive? I disagree. This song is mediocre at best.
Really I think Em fell off a while back. Probably just not hungry for it anymore. He did have some classic albums though.
From a fan since day 1...I'll admit he did fall off, with albums such as "Encore" and his wack ass voice on "Relapse". But I still knew he had it in him...he then collaborated with Wayne and Drake on "Forever" and ****ted on everyone on that track. Then...with "Drop the World", he killed Wayne on his own song...Those verses gave me hope that he was going back to his old self and this new single justifies that he has and that "Recovery" will be dope as ***.
Who the **** is Lupe? He must suck because I see all these kids on here swinging from his hairy ones, and I never hear anything about him anywhere else. Let me know when he comes up with something as socially relevant and critically acclaimed as The Marshall Mathers LP. Now that was some fire straight from the belly of Dionysis right into the festering nether regions of the Lynne Cheney conspiracy board of regents.
He won Pitchfork award. :grin: I love Lupe and his ceiling is really high but people need to recognize Em as a great. He's top 10 all time.
