New Dynamo stadium to open in June 2012

Finally! Great news. Can't wait to get in that new stadium.

 

Good deal, not a soccer fan, but this team has delivered the goods and they deserve a stadium of their own. Not much of a burden on the city, and stadiums have proven to be good for surrounding areas.

 

i hope they stick with the conceptual renderings they had in april... sleek modern look. the stadium should be a real boon to the eastisde and will definitely help spur new development.

 

so glad this is going to happen, the Dynamo, while not very good this year after losing most of the talented players from the championship years, still gives it their all on the pitch.

Now where is this going to be? Hoping it doesn't effect the maggot colony/Fransisco studios.

 

The Sports Authority have agreed to come on board, this was the last major roadblock. Hopefully they will have a groundbreaking ceremony in the next week or so and start construction soon.

Just passed by it heading down 59...the outside of the stadium looks awesome. I'm not a big fan of soccer but I'm definitely gonna check it out!
