You can't honestly expect them to take the bet, with the polls being the way they are right now? They need a place to vent their frustration and bitterness, and apparently a basketball message board seems to suffice. Makes sense, their garbage would be laughed at on a real political forum even more than it is here. There's a nice 'ignore' feature. I've always tried to push for 0 replies on any thread they start - maybe that would get them to scamper away. Wouldn't it be beautiful if none of their threads received any replies? It's worth a shot at least.
