Ok so I have been hoping Bleach would restart but up to now nothing and I cant find any new info on it saying they would.

So is there a anime similar to it that I could watch an enjoy? Other similar animes I enjoyed to give you an idea of the genre was Samurai X (aka Ruroni Kenshin) and .hack (dot hack), Record of Lodoss War and Escaflowne. If you notice all my examples are hella old series. Took a long break and when I finally came back someone recommended Bleach which I loved so I really do not know whats up to date now.

    Any help appreciated!

On a side note, who here thinks Game of Thrones ruined your appreciate for other tv shows (ie.. True Blood just doesnt do it for me anymore, I have higher expectations.)

Currently im watching Toriko, Fairy Tail, and One Piece. One piece can be slow for your taste since it's been around for over a decade and still going, so it'll require some patience.

Neon Genesis Evangelion the original is one of my favorites along with Blood +. Claymore reminded me of bleach even though I wasn't to impressed with the ending. Soul Eater is a more lighthearted version of Bleach also.

Have you tried D.Gray-Man? I'm willing to bet almost anything that if you like Bleach you'll like D.Gray-Man. They're very similar.

First two seasons are on Netflix streaming (link above is to Netflix), and there are another two seasons, but they haven't been localized. If you like the show, I'm sure you can find fansubs of last two seasons around teh interwebs somewhere.

But on the other hand, you might try something like Moribito, which I think is a hell of a lot better than either of those shows.

You seem to be into long epics so Slayers, Magic Knight Rayearth, which are both pseudo medieval. Fushigi Yuugi is also a long epic but it's also got a lot of Asian romantic drama, if you can at least tolerate that.

My strong personal recommendation is Shadow Skill, though:

One of the best shounen anime I've ever watched.
