Just got the new release from Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, STREETCORE, which was mostly complete when Joe passed away earlier this year. Many thanks to the Mescaleros and Joe's wife for finishing it off and getting it out. What a great cd WOW Thanks Joe, you are the greatest The music is great as always, but damn the lyrics are amazing, heavily political in parts which makes them even better. Damn he could make sweet moving music, what a waste that he taken from us. So if you like good music with substance, do yourself a favour and go and get it right now!!!! Smeg PS While you're buying it, also pick up the new double live cd from Jeff Buckley, it was recorded from gigs from back in the early 90s when he was playing weekly free gigs in small clubs in NY.
