Ok, at the cost of sounding like the complete teeny-bopper, I've been waiting FOREVER for Christina Aguilera to release her new album.

The wait is finally over, and her first single is OFF THE HOOK! She sounds great, and the beat, the whole vibe just makes you wanna move! It sounds like it has a sample of an earlier song, but I can't quite place it yet! The song has been on perpetual repeat since I got it last night ... and it will blow up once it impacts on radio 9/2!!!

So ... if anyone has heard it, lemme know what you think.

okay little girl, thanks for the info. sounds great...i definately am gonna add that to my collection of backstreet boys, n'sync, and brityney spears. wow, cant wait.

    what i really mean:

shut the hell up. she sucks. the radio station i listen to will never play this crap, therefore it will not impact my radio listening one bit.

I think there's really just one of those pop songs, and it is just remixed for each band and each song . . .

ease up!!! i'm not an aguilera fan, either...but my opinions on music just that...OPINIONS! music tastes are subjective...the "shut the hell up" statement might be a bit over the top...why the mean spirit??

Maybe you need to listen to a radio station that'll play it ... it'll help you lighten up! It's a song, not a statement on life or anything ... god forbid I find it enjoyable.

To all the others, I really do find the song to be pretty good. Its an upbeat, feel-good kinda song ...

Htownhero ... how do you know I didn't make up my profile ;) Actually, I'm not a girl, but a 24yo guy who happens to like Christinas music.

Vengeance & drapg ... lolololol, that was good.

I liked Christina's first album better than Britney's, but after winning best new artist at the Grammy's, she practically disappeared. She's done collaborations, a spanish album, and probably other stuff I've never heard about, but waiting 3 years to release her second english album was just too long. I could care less now.

I know that I should be the last person to say something about Christina Aguilera (who I think personally is obnoxious with the way she dresses and acts), but I will say this because of one poster that I highly respect in SirCharlesFan.

I used to be a huge pop fan, and sad to say that I have Christina's debut CD as well as, *gulp*, the first 2 Britney Spears CDs, Backstreet Boys, NSync, Mandy Moore, and Jessica Simpson. I had fallen under the spell of, what I like to call, bubblegum pop.:(

Now, I don't come close to listening to that stuff, but I still have the CDs and there are some very good pop songs on those CDs. But as SCF pointed out to me on numerous occasions, you can't diss someone for who they like in music. 3814, you seem like a good guy, but as Max said, you went a little over the top with your comments to rockit. If he really likes listening to Aguilera and is proud of it, then he shouldn't be ridiculed for it. It is SO in vogue to bash fans of these artists, and I am sad to say that I have participated in it, as well. However, I am trying not to do that because I have learned that music is all about taste. Maybe in a couple of years or even months, rockit's tastes will change in music where he can't stand Christina Aguilera and all he likes is Pantera, Slayer, and Sepultura.:D But you get the point.

Now if he had said that Christina Aguilera was the best artist ever, even better than Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, etc. like that one clown on Amazon did about Creed and Nickelback, then hell yes, he needs to be ridiculed. But for saying that you like a group or artist, then you shouldn't be ridiculed....only for getting into absolutes. I mean if I said that Radiohead was the greatest band ever, then I would expect to catch some heat for saying that.

dang dude, if you don't like Christina that's one thing but you need to chill on the verbiage.

what radio station do you listen to anyway airport traffic? though kinda cheesy, she is the best singer out right now and is kinda funky.

be not dismayed three ate, Vanilla Ice won't be mad at you for listening.

To be honest with you, I love his music!
    I do--I'm a Michael...Bolton...fan.
For my money, I don't know if it gets any better than when he sings "When a Man Loves a Woman"!

sorry for the "shut the hell up" statement...i don't really know why i went so overboard. just got given a ton of work that had to be done sooner than i could do it and was prob a bit pissed. so sorry, it's fine if you like that kinda music...but that doesn't mean i do.

the thing i hate about all those pop artists is that they don't even write their own music (for the most part). therefore there is no emotion put into the songs. they are simply used as hot (which christina is) marketing icons to make millions of dollars.
