    NBA Mock Draft

(Height and Weight according to ESPN)
    1. LA Clippers- Blake Griffin PF Oklahoma 6-10 248lbs
Most obvious choice in the draft

    2. Memphis Grizzlies- Hasheem Thabeet C UCONN 7-3 267lbs
The Grizzlies could go in many different directions here. Rubio, Evans and Thabeet are all good choices here. Rubio has expressed his desire to not play in Memphis and Evans isn't a real point guard. Thabeet makes most sense to me.

    3. Oklahoma City Thunder- James Harden SG Arizona State 6-5 222lbs
Lots of people have Rubio penciled in here if he falls past Memphis but I think Westbrook did a terrific job running PG. Put Harden at SG and thats a young deadly team

    4. Sacramento Kings- Ricky Rubio PG Spain 6-4 180lbs
If Rubio falls past the first 3 teams, many people seem to think that he will continue to fall. There were reports that the Kings were unimpressed by Rubio at his workout. I think that Rubio is too good of a player to pass up here and fills such a big need for them.

    5. Minnesota T-Wolves (From Washington Wizards)- Tyreke Evans SG Memphis 6-5 220lbs
With the trade of Foye and Miller, theres a big need at SG for the Wolves and Tyreke is the best on the board.

    6. Minnesota T-Wolves- Johnny Flynn PG Syracuse 6-1 196lbs
The Wolves other biggest need besides SG is PG. Flynn is the best on the board. Telfair started to improve last season so it will be interesting to see if Flynn can win the starting job.

    7. Golden State Warriors- Jordan Hill PF Arizona 6-10 232lbs
With the trade for 2 PGs, I think Golden State was saying that they will not be picking a PG. Also, Monta Ellis didn't seem to like the idea too much and I dont think they wanna piss off there best player. Jordan Hill is also a great player that will fit in very well into their offense.

    8. New York Knicks- Stephen Curry PG/SG Davidson 6-3 181lbs
The Knicks get their man. Curry, the most popular player in the draft, somehow falls to the Knicks at 8. Can you say Curry to Lebron?

    9. Toronto Raptors- DeMar DeRozan SG/SF USC 6-6 211lbs
Both Anthony Parker and Shawn Marion are free agents leaving a big need at wing for the Raptors. Derozan is one of the most gifted players in the draft. He can shoot and he can fly.

    10. Milwaukee Bucks- Jrue Holdiay PG UCLA 6-4 199lbs
The Bucks either go PG or PF here since Ramon Sessions and Charlie Villanueva are both FA. They traded Richard Jefferson but Joe Alexander will fill his spot. Jrue Holiday is the best player on the board IMO so he goes here over the best PF, Blair.

    11. New Jersey Nets- Dejuan Blair PF Pittsburgh 6-7 277lbs
Last year the Nets got the steal of the draft with Brooke Lopez and hope they get it again with Dejuan Blair at 11. He will be right next to Brooke Lopez down low. Blair is undersized but his strength is amazing.

    12. Charlotte Bobcats- Terrence Williams SG Louisville 6-6 213lbs
This pick comes between Terrence Williams and Gerald Henderson. The Bobcats have an obvious need at SG behind Raja Bell. I think T-Will is defenitely the better player than Gerald Henderson. Henderson is a better shooter but not by much. Williams is a better passer and rebounder and he is very good at getting to the basket. Terrence Williams also averaged over 2 steal per a game.

    13. Indiana Pacers- Brandon Jennings PG Italy 6-2 165lbs
The Pacers have needs at PG and PF. With Jarrett Jack likely on his way out, that leaves TJ Ford alone at the point and TJ played alot of SG last year and I think thats where the Pacers wanna keep him. Jennings is a quick player who can pass very well which is just the sort of PG that the Pacers need.

    14. Phoenix Suns- Ty Lawson PG UNC 6-1 199lbs
With the trade of Shaq, it looks like the Suns may begin the rebuilding period. Steve Kerr has already said that he will meet with Steve Nash to talk about his future with the team. I think that talk could be to tell him that they are looking to trade him. Ty Lawson will be a good backup even if Nash isn't traded and could be ready to take over next year.

    15. Detroit Pistons- Earl Clark SF Louisville 6-10 226lbs
Pistons could begin rebuilding too. Clark would be taking the spot of Tayshaun Prince. Earl can play down low in a up tempo offense or on the wing in a slowed down offense. He has a good mid range shot but not much of 3pt shot. He is very athletic but doesn't know how to use it and is too soft.

    16. Chicago Bulls- Gerald Henderson SG Duke 6-5 215lbs
The Bulls would be very happy to see Henderson at 16. There are rumors they're trying to trade up to 11 to get him. Henderson is not nearly the shooter Ben Gordon is but is a great defender. He can post up and hit the midrange shot.

    17. Philadelphia 76ers- Eric Maynor PG Virginia Commonwealth 6-3 164lbs
With Andre Miller likely on his way out and Lou Williams more fit to play SG, the 76ers have an obvious need for a PG. Maynor is the pick here. He reminds me a lot of Andre Miller. Good passer, 3 point shooter, inconsistent and tries to do too much.

    18. Minnesota T-Wolves (From Miami Heat)- BJ Mullens C Ohio State 7-1 258lbs
The Wolves get the 2nd best Center in the draft at 18 which unfortunately for them is BJ Mullens. Mullens is athletic for someone his height but will likely need two years to develope. For now, he fills a need at Center so Al Jefferson can move to PF.

    19. Atlanta Hawks- Jeff Teague PG Wake Forest 6-2 175lbs
Bibbys a FA, Acie Law and Speedy Claxton are traded and Jamal Crawford isn't a real PG. Jeff Teague will fight with Crawford for the starting PG spot. Hes explosive but needs to work on his TO/Assist ratio.

    20. Utah Jazz- Tyler Hansbrough PF UNC 6-10 234lbs
Perfect player for the Jazz. Hustle player who likes to flop. Really though, Hansbrough is a good player. He has an underrated shot and fills a big need at PF if Boozer or Millsap goes.

    21. New Orleans Hornets- Omri Casspi SF/PF Israel 6-9 211lbs
The Blazers traded up to 22 to pick Omri but unfortunately for them, the Hornets snag him at 21. He is a perfect fit for CP3. Nobody moves better without the ball them Omri. CP3 will love him.

    22. Portland Trailblazers (From Dallas Mavericks)- Darren Collison PG UCLA 6-2 166lbs
Portland got unlucky with Omri going 1 pick ahead of them so they go for need and draft a PG. He is perfect for them. He has a great 3pt shot. He could end up stealing the starting job from Blake IMO.

    23. Sacramento Kings (From Houston Rockets)- James Johnson PF Wake Forest 6-8 257lbs
James Johnson, who was thought to be a lottery pick not too long ago, falls all the way to 23. The Kings got Jason Thompson but don't have too much faith in him. James will fight it out with Thompson for the starting spot.

    24. Dallas Mavericks (From Portland Trailblazers- Patrick Mills PG St.Mary's 6-1 175lbs
Mavs move 2 spots back and pick up an extra draft pick and are still able to pick up a solid PG. Jason Kidd could very well be on his way out which would leave JJ Barea at the point but he is more fit to play SG. Mills needs to work on his shot and become consistent but he is very quick and a good defender.

    25. Oklahoma City Thunder (From San Antonio Spurs)- Jeff Pendergraph PF Arizona State 6-10 240lbs
The one thing the Thunder dont have is height. There are still no centers worth taking here so the Thunder pick the best big man with height which would be Pendergraph. He is quick which is good for this sort of team but he needs to add some strength.

    26. Chicago Bulls (From Denver Nuggets)- Demarre Carroll PF Missouri 6-8 207lbs
The Bulls already got insurance at SG in case Ben Gordon doesn't return so now they fill their PF need. Carroll is undersized but is a good rebounder which the Bulls need.

    27. Memphis Grizzlies (From Orlando Magic)- Nick Calathes PG Florida 6-5 185lbs
The Grizzlies passed up on Rubio for a center so now they need a PG and a PF. Calathes is too good of a player to pass up on here. If he hadn't decided to sign with a Greek team he could've possibly gone lottery, probably where Brandon Jennings is.

    28. Minnesota T-Wolves (From Boston Celtics)- Sam Young SF Pittsburgh 6-7 223lbs
The Wolves have already picked up a PG, SG, and C. They have Jefferson and Love at the PF which means they now need a SF. Young can score from outside and inside but needs to learn to play defense.

    29. LA Lakers- Austin Daye SF Gonzaga 6-11 192lbs
Out of all the players in the draft, nobody has fallen farther than Austin Daye. Daye, once thought to be a for sure lottery pick, falls all the way to the end of the 1st round. Daye, besides Curry, has the best shot in the class. He reminds me of Tayshaun Prince with a better shot.

    30. Cleveland Cavaliers- Taj Gibson PF USC 6-10 214lbs
Cavaliers have no true PF. Hes quick and athletic but needs to add strength. He has very good ball handling skills for someone his height.

    2ND ROUND

    1. Sacramento Kings- Jonas Jerekbo SF Sweden 6-9 220lbs

    2. Washington Wizards- Derrick Brown SF/PF Xavier 6-9 225lbs

    3. Portland Trailblazers (From Los Angles Clippers)- Rodrigue Beaubois PG France 6-2 182lbs

    4. Denver Nuggets (From Oklahoma City Thunder)- Chase Budinger SG Arizona 6-7 206lbs

    5. Detroit Pistons (From Minnesota Timberwolves)- Wayne Ellington SG UNC 6-5 202lbs

    9. Detroit Pistons (From Toronto Raptors)- Josh Heytvelt PF Gonzaga 6-11 246lbs

    11. Milwaukee Bucks- Leo Lyons PF Missouri 6-9 240lbs

    15. Minnesota Timberwolves (From Philadelphia 76ers)- Dante Cunningham SF/PF Villanova 6-8 227lbs

    16. Phoenix Suns (From Cleveland Cavaliers via Chicago Bulls)- Vyacheslav Kravtsov C Ukraine 7-0 260lbs

    17. Minnesota Timberwolves (From Miami Heat)- Goran Suton C Michigan State 6-10 245lbs

    18. Phoenix Suns- Robert Dozier SF/PF Memphis 6-9 215lbs

    19. Atlanta Hawks- Alade Aminu PF Georgia Tech 6-10 225lbs
