Underestimate the heart of a champion, baby !!!! Well ... a budding champion.

This win is great for two reasons :

    1) the emotional swing that comes when you turn a devastating loss into a victory
    2) IN YOUR FACE, ZRB !!!!!

It was great to win in the absence of Taylor, and Hakeem. We were down by 23 points but came roaring back.It was incredible that we we won considering that Mobley just came back after an injury.Even though the Hawks are a weak team they do have some good talent, and wins like this can only strengthen the resolve of our team.

    GO ROCKETS!

First, let me just say that this was an UNBELIEVABLE game. If the words "Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion" NEVER entered your mind during the game, never post on this BBS again. [IMG]

But do you guys know what part of this game will stick with me the most? The amazing comeback? No. The Francis three to put the nail in the coffin? No. The effort put forth by the Rockets OR the Hawks? **** no.

The thing that will stick with me from watching this game was being in the chat for the first three quarters, when the deck was totally stacked against us. Sitting there at halftime, making fun of Cato [IMG], but the bottom line: EVERYONE IN THAT CHAT BELIEVED THAT THE ROCKETS WOULD WIN. Not COULD win. WOULD win. This is what separates us from other fans (well, MOST of us [IMG]). While it's nice to see that the team had the heart of a champion tonight, it was truly wonderful to see that the fans still have some of that heart left in them, too.

Clutch City, baby!!! I BELIEVE!!! Do YOU?

    GO ROCKETS!!!

Yeah! I agree with slc! Even though I missed the halftime buying lotto tix, it was definitely a good night in the chat! [IMG]

Not to quarrel, it was a GREAT game… but the "kiss of death" 4th quarter playoff series comeback against the Suns was UNBELIEVABLE. Tonight's game was an exciting, "kick'em when their down", needed, 2nd half ass kicking- but I believed it could happen. That Suns game… well, that was just unbelievable.

uh, minhdog, the Rockets never came back from 20 down in the 4th against the suns. they had some good comebacks but not THAT good. They came back down 20 in the 4th against the Rockets.

The Rockets actually did come back from 20 down against the Sonics in the playoffs in 96 but lost in overtime (game 4, round 2).

I think mihndog meant coming back from being down 3 games to 1 in the series.
