Never mistake activity for achievement

    ... says the venerable Bill Walton via John Wooden. This is the motto I wish our two best players would live by for the remainder of the season.

    Yao: On offense, why are you running around the court like a chicken w/ its head cut off setting screens for guards on practically every play? The guards can create their own shots and you're not going to get the ball on the roll anyway, so cut it out; it's a waste of your limited energy. Do you see any other big man in the league set as many screens as you? Conserve your energy for battling for position and rebounding.

    Francis: Stop with all the high-stepping dribbling, jumping in the air before you make any decision, and all your other unnecessary histrionics during the course of the game. BTW, Pointing at the opposing team after you make an alley-oop dunk doesn't help our cause, in fact it probably makes the other team hungrier.
