I have a Wii, plan on getting the other two once I buy an HDTV. My Wii connects to my wireless network now and I use Winamp Remote to play all of my music and videos on my entertainment system. The problem is my Wii is constantly disconnecting and then reconnecting to the network. This problem happens the majority of the time when using Winamp Remote and seldom when I just use the Wii for surfing the web. I have got all the latest updates for my Wii.

Anybody know of a better way to network the Wii to use it to play my music and videos through my entertainment center and not my desktop monitor and speakers?

you say you can eliminate the Wii as the problem since it doesnt lose connection while used for surfing

so switch out the Winamp Remote for something else, try VLC Player or Tversity

I have not bothered with running a media server for my network so I cant tell you for sure what will work.
