Bring him here, I'm pretty sure he'll be more receptive to the Coach's gameplan if he has Yao looking over his shoulder.

If he is primarily looking to shoot, wouldn't that be another Von Wafer?

I'm not expecting much from him, but if he works on enough things he can be a very poor man's Dirk.

No, because Wafer can make shots.

I don't think Yi wants to be in Yao's shadow like Tracy was in Vince's shadow, Yi's probably trying to make his own name but too bad he's too soft in at NBA level.

That is probably true, but if he doesn't learn his lesson he'll just be another V Span

I don't think Yi has any say in the matter considering he's in Ryan Anderson's shadow right now.

Yi will probably be out of the league when his rookie contract runs out. He is a bust.

Pretty much. If Yi doesn't show anything this season, he's a goner. Can't blame the Nets for wanting to trade him. Either he just isn't that good or maybe he doesn't have a sense of urgency that his career is on the line.

Saying Yi could be a "very poor man's Dirk" makes no sense at all.

Nets should trade him to the Hornets. With Chris Paul as his point guard, he'll shoot the ball every time he touches it. No idea who they could trade him for though. Maybe Morris Peterson.

    They already have David West.

He could play small forward or he could backup David West. He would fit. Any 3 point shooter would fit with Chris Paul.

Yi blows. When his contract runs out can you say CBA?

He's basically a Chinese Brian Cook.

He could easily take Peja's spot.
