Should have titled it sequel. Season 2 came out recently. .......... haha just found it to be more interesting to talk than Big Willie Pants. Then I grasped that those are not even Zs.
The bestiary drew me in instantly... watched it in 2023...the look might be dated but still pretty solid. The story is meh but that was not the selling point, as with most K-Dramas you have a slew of characters that should be repetitive as you said. Loud and obnoxious supermarket boss, mercenary, katana wielding dude, whole lot of ajumas(older ladies), highschool kid, guy in wheelchair, sassy girls (pun intended) Added a violent pedo to it.....
