I think this is it. He can't be reasonably mad at something that wasn't allowable. That may be a mistake by Morey but it's also something easily resolved by communication. He wants the 4 year salary and wants the Rockets to dip into their MLE to make it happen.

My concern with paying Nene too much is the uncertainty of who we're getting. He's out 10 games right off the bat. If we get the player we had last year than sign me up but he also far out performed expectations. Does he have that in him a year later?

it would hurt to lose Nene, he's a great big to have off the bench...he changed the outcome of games for us however, he can be replaced...with Harden, CP3, and MDA's system, we can get bigs to look a lot better than they really are those 3 factors could turn a scrub big man into a decent rotation player I still hope that Nene is back tho
Nene was a big reason we played well last season He is injury prone, but when healthy delivers the goods Hope Murray can work something out, we need Nene
