Lol if Nene wants to walk that's his right to. I'd like to see how many contending teams are going to give him the same playing time next season that he had with us this past season. If he gets more than $4 mill a season more power to him and I wish him good luck.

Because it was offered. You don't bait and switch someone like that because you end up just pissing them off.

I doubt he's angry at us for the offer not being allowed. If he's angry it's because the rockets aren't jumping at using the mle to keep him

I think this is it. He can't be reasonably mad at something that wasn't allowable. That may be a mistake by Morey but it's also something easily resolved by communication. He wants the 4 year salary and wants the Rockets to dip into their MLE to make it happen.

No, I disagree. Dude is amazing at finishing at the run. Solid defense. Good luck finding that elsewhere.

Time to go all in. Anderson+Capela for Drummond+KCP. Drummond can sky!

My concern with paying Nene too much is the uncertainty of who we're getting. He's out 10 games right off the bat. If we get the player we had last year than sign me up but he also far out performed expectations. Does he have that in him a year later?

Nene was waaaay better last year than I thought he'd be. We need him back.

"Here, I got young. I got healthy. And I got happy."

Come on, Nene. You got an MVP level superstar here calling you his mentor in terms of work ethic. The situation here is storybook for you and you know it. Don't return yourself to the meat grinder of this league for a few extra dollars.

Morey tried to play him or was just callous, in any case just stupid not to be thorough

Supremely disappointing. Quality depth walking away.

If Nene walks, how about Len as replacement depth? Better than trading for Shump

it would hurt to lose Nene, he's a great big to have off the bench...he changed the outcome of games for us

however, he can be replaced...with Harden, CP3, and MDA's system, we can get bigs to look a lot better than they really are

those 3 factors could turn a scrub big man into a decent rotation player

I still hope that Nene is back tho

Nene was a big reason we played well last season

He is injury prone, but when healthy delivers the goods

Hope Murray can work something out, we need Nene

    @Codman

any updates? hopefully it's all being overblown and Nene gets that fourth year under the table. I'm sure Harden would give it to him in a second.
