Get lasik.......well worth the money.

 

For some people Lasik isn't an option until your eyes deterioration has stabilized. For most people it happens around age 23-28. My eyes still haven't stabilized, otherwise I would already have got Lasik.

 

reminds me of my ultra poor office eye care insurance, spectera. they suck big time.

 

I had to get PRK rather than the lasik where they cut the flap. First week was hell, but after that, money well spent.

And to get back on topic. What Kam said. 12:30 and you need them in an hour??

 

where do you live? eyecare 2000 is good, but it's at like gessner and harwin.

 

costco or sams...of course you gotta be a member. im sure walmart will have the same glasses as sams...

 

ya they suck. they give you like 50 bucks or something for an entire year.

my 3 months of contacts costs 65 bucks.

Can anyone recommend a good place to get an eye exam? Unfortunately, I only have medical insurance and not vision.
I've seen that the average cost for an eye exam can range from $75-100. I guess that's not too bad but are there any Clutchfan optometrists out there? Or anyone know of any good deals if I want to also purchase contacts?

Someone recommended the University of Houston Eye Institute and said that it's really cheap. Any UH students ever been and can you comment on the experience?
