Does anyone have any type of information on our new arena and the supposed new uniforms we will have next year? I live in Los Angeles and I have not heard much about any of it. Thanks
Nobody has any solid info on the uniforms yet. There have been a number of threads over the past year, though, discussing opinions, showing people drawings, photoshop, etc. Check out the arena section of the board to find more info. Additional info about the arena itself can be found on the Rockets website, or on the Harris County Houston Sports Authority website Finally, the man personally responsible for keeping the Rockets in town and getting the new arena, Clutchcity's own Jeff, is working with the Rockets on a new website devoted entirely to the arena - keep checking the boards over the next few weeks to find out when that website will be up and running.
-- edit -- JayZ beat me to it. Just to clarify, it is not just me working on the website. It is the company that Clutch and I own that is doing it. On the uni's: No information has been released about the new uniforms and do not expect ANYTHING to be released prior to the summer.
So its going to be called Reliant Arena? Jeff: I thought that the site was going to be up by December.
There is no news on the naming rights yet. I don't think there will be any decision on that before spring, possibly summer. The site was slated to be public by December, but, like with most web projects, there were a variety of delays that have held it up, but we're in the home stretch. To quote Lisa Simpson: "Soon, Corey, soon."
