My girlfriend is in the process of interviewing and sending out resumes for jobs... she is graduating in December.

Well, here is the problem she has created...

Her email address was an AOL address. It was not the primary account holder for the membership, it was her roomates famililes from a few years back. It appears that "family" has canceled their subscription to AOL, thus ending her email account.

You can see the jam this causes for her since she has already send out TONS of resumes to companies and this is THE time for her to be hearing back about interviews.

Anyway she can open up a new account with AOL and request that same email address so she won't miss any emails?

It's a bonehead move on her part and I can't believe she overlooked it. I am hoping there is some way to fix this problem.. is there? Thanks for the help....

2.) mooch off of someone else's account like she did before....

If she creates a new AOL account with the same name, she should be all set.

Thanks for the help.. I called AOL and if she gets the "primary" account holder to call and give permission to release the username she should be okay... now she just has to call this girl's parents and tell them that she has been getting free AOL for a few years from them... that should be pleasant.

    Again, thanks for the input....
