School is starting soon and i need a small loan of about 2,000 to get a bucket car just to get around in with AC. The car i have now is basically destroyed and has no AC. I wake up with a positive mind frame and a smile on my face until i go outside and see my car...(lol no joke) Anyways i dont have excellent credit and i need some advice on how to get a small loan so i can get into something in the next week. Does anyone have any advice for a broke guy in America? I tired to get a loan from whacovia but you need excellent credit! please help
my AC didn't work in my car during college...just lived with it. My A/C right now sucks, but I usually only drive to work and back..take the wifes car other times.
hit up other credit unions/banks before financing through a dealer. they are going to kill you on the interest If you have $500 down on a $2000 loan I would think you could find someone
Positive that 500 would work... I've bought from here before: Auto 4 Less 4937 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX (281) 998-2386 If you don't find anything here there are over 500,000,000 used car dealerships in the Pasadena area.
With the $500 buy a large amount of "product". Then go home, and using a ziplock bag, ration out the "product" into smaller measured quantities. Then open up shop. Amazingly your $500 will turn to $2000.
Do you think a bank would be comfortable making an auto loan on the kind of car that would be worth $2,000? Don't they get nervous about the age/quality of a car when it comes to loans? I almost wonder if NateNate could just cut back on cable or something and then just make a $100 - $200 payment for 4/5 years on a better car that he wouldn't end up having to repair. How low a monthly payment do y'all think OP could get on a $5,000 - $10,000 car note?
1. search through link below 2. Test drive 3. Have mechanic or buddy that knows about cars check it out 4. Finance through dealer Houston craiglist
Good point, don't know. I just thought if he was putting 25% down it would be appealing on an auto loan. You're probably right though
