I am registering to compete in a singing contest. They have asked me for a voice demo and I currently don't have one. I am wondering if any of you know a good place for recording. In addition to the recording equipment, I'll need access to a computer so I can play the accompaniment.

I can probably get a mic from a friend, but I don't have a good sound editting software, nor do I have access to a good quality mic. Can you guys help? Thanks!

Do you live in Austin? I've got everything you need if you do.

I used to live in Austin. Unfortunately, I'm back in Houston now. Thanks for the offer.

    Can anyone else help?

Ask Paris Hilton - I'm sure she could provide you with the hook-up...in more ways than one, if you know what I mean.

Go to Dixie's. It's around Richmond and Hillcroft. They have a studio there that you can record in for a hundred bucks.

10 bucks a track sounds good to me. Can you get me more info? I found a couple of places with the word Chop Shop, but they don't appear to be at the 3rd ward.
