I posted an ad on Craigslist yesterday and some dude just spammed me pimping his web design business.

Now that I have his email address, I feel the need to give him a taste of his own medicine.

Any ideas (that I could do from work without getting fired)?

Use his email to sign up to weird p*rn sites, jihadist web sites and some of those "overthrow the gov't" websites.

Also, sign him up for the Log Cabin Republicans.

find out his number and then post a craigslist ad offering a service. doesn't have to be a bad service, make it something like a used car he's trying to sell. he'll start to wonder why he's getting numerous calls for a 1980 vw bug. :)

I would do this except put his email in the ad since I'm not sure how you would go about getting his number. I would place it somewhere in the "casual encounters" section. You decide where. :D

This, but list an iphone for $120. We did this to a buddy at work and he received over 100 calls and emails within an hour...

Good stuff, everyone. Except you, moondog. I don't think I should be surfing those sites from work... :)

The fake ad is a definite winner. Lots of possibilities. But just to be safe, I'm going to set up a fake Craigslist account when I get home (that doesn't use my work email).

I like the fake 'casual encounter' idea.... :D The iPhone is a good one too.
