Okay, I thought all of you Austin people might be able to help me out. I'm in charge of the party, it's next week and the only rule is no strip club/strippers.

Here are some of the locations I've been told to check into.

Bone Daddy's then Dave & Busters
    The Hula Hut
    Buffalo Billiards
    and of course 6th street

I don't know anything about the places listed other than D&B. If anyone knows what they are like please fill me in on the details. :) Plus any ideas for pranks or other things to add in that night please fire away.

    Thanks,

    B

Bone Daddy's is right down the street from my apartment... I've been there once for lunch...

It's a better version of Hooters (better food and MUCH better female scenery)

Hula Hut has decent food, GREAT drinks, but no reservations, so Saturday and friday nights can be up to and over 1.5 hour waits!

i suggest Bone Daddy's if you really can't have strippers :(

Bone Daddy's sounds like a good start. Any ideas for what to do next?

I think there is a new place up north called Sam's Boat or something. Looks like a lot of people go up there to get their drink on.

D&B's is always a good place to go.

How far away is Lake Travis from Bone Daddy's? There are only going to be 6 or 7 people at most, so I am not sure a boat would be that fun. Any good ideas for a smaller group?

Yes, it does mean no escorts. :) I'm paying for this too, so I don't want to spend over $500 for this party.

Bone Daddy's is at 183 and Duval...

Lake Travis is out on 620 and 2222... kinda far drive (at least 20 minutes) i think... i know you can rent boats near Carlos and Charlies (i did that once many years ago)

An idea I've seen done before is the groom wears a shirt saying something like "Last night of freedom" or something like that, and he has to get 40 or so women to sign his shirt through out the night. Anyone have another idea I could try? I want it to be fun, but not something we have to keep our mouth shut about for years to come.
