    Ok this is wierd,

I just downloaded 5 Discovery's videos and was watching them fine on my computer. Also I just brought a new DVD player with a USB port so, I figure I'll see if I could watch it on the player. Well the player only plays the audio but no video? which was kinda wierd but anyway that's not the problem.

The problem is when I put the USB back into my computer and try to deleted a video it says "Error file is Write Protected". Even if I try to MOVE it to my desktop it would still be in my usb drive, but I could delete the one moved to my desktop.

So how can i deleted this file of my usb drive? and what's the cost of it?

    any advise?

    thanks

Get rid of your jump drive. Destroy it like it's a terminator.

save the files you want and then reformat the drive...

    or use this program http://www.purgeie.com/delinv/

i've used it for years, it's safe, and completely wipes away all traces of the file.

i'm not positive either of those methods would work, but i'm sure one of them will

right click on the file, click on the security tab and change the permissions to Full Control.
