I am graduating from law school at the end of the semester (OMG HOORAY) and need a place for a party. The Graduation is downtown but I live on the NW side of town so anywhere between the two would work. Probably 50+ people, wanted to do some food, but I don't have enough money to do a full sit down dinner. Wanted a space where people can talk, visit, catch up, and that is SOMEWHAT kid friendly (but no Chucke' Cheese or Dave & Busters). Party would be on Sat. Dec. 20th in the afternoon.

    Any suggestions?

Cadillac Bar on Durham/I-10. They have a party room in the back that is perfect for a group that size

Pub Fiction has a back room that is used for this type of thing all the time. They open the bar back there, and bring some minor food, ie. quesadillas, hot wings, etc.

Just reserve it. It's located in Midtown.

Ringside at Sullivans. Near The Galleria.

You can rent out the whole room for a few hours before it opens at 9. They hook you up with a buffet and drinks, if I'm not mistaken.

there are a dozen or so different clubhouses here in The Woodlands. Most of em are fairly cheap, The one in my nieghborhood is free to residents with a $1500 refundable deposit. pretty lush. probably a nominal fee for non-residents.

Congrats on graduating. The world needs more lawyers. ;)
