My old ones are pretty beat up and I think I actually outgrew them (is that possible at my age). Looking for a new pair but don't know what's good.

Play the PF/SF positions. Put a lot of pressure on ankles and for some reason, I seem to get stepped on the toe a lot (big toe nail just fell off playing against this guy who's nuts, stepping on my toe 10 times in the same game).

Protection and comfort are obviously the key issues. Looking good is also nice, but not required. Price not an issue. Recommendations?

anyhow... what kam said if you're toe is getting stepped on that much. someone's due for a "dirty play alert".

Which ones are those? I know I've seen it before but just can't remember the name.

Oh yeah, and the guy I played against was a certifiable nutcase. Oh well...

adidas pro models are the way to go. they're about $70 at Academy. at first glance, they might not look great, but when you put them on your feet, you definitely look/feel like a baller. popular shoe among high school/college basketball players

Design your own! All the major shoe companies let you design your own, but I like reeboks the best. They have the best prices and I like the way their site is set up.
