I have already purchased a new satellite television just because I wanted to order league pass. Now that I have ordered it, when I go to the channel that says "Order 2000-2001 NBA League Pass" it states that I am already authorized for this program. It also shows on this channel that you need to have a phone line continuously connected with your receiver to be eligible for League Pass. I am totally new to all of this. What does this mean? I was under the impression that after I had ordered League Pass, I had nothing else left to do but wait for the season to start. On a side note: I hear from some that ALL the preseason games are on League Pass...but I'm only getting the "Free Previews." I hear from others that you only get the Free Preview preseason games, but that when the season starts, I will get all the games. WHO DO I BELIEVE? Sorry about this thread...I know I too am sick of all the "Is the game on tonight?" threads. But I just need to get this cleared up, so any information that could be offered to me would be very helpful... ------------------ Jazzkiller
Ok, first, yes you need a phone line connected, so when they zap the illegal cards that are out there, your card is kept up to date by the phone connection. Second, The only pre-season games on the dish are the free preview ones. When the regular season starts, you will get every game, except the team closest to your location (blackout rules apply) ------------------ In order to be a success in life, you need 2 things: 1. Don't tell everything you know.
That means when it's Jazz VS Utah you will have to listen to Hot Rod, or you can go to the game. ------------------ Cuttino Mobley Online
