I don't know if this is appropriate, but this forum could be my only hope. Monday is the last day of summer school and also the day of my exam and the date of which my final requirement is due. This research paper is probably my ONLY hope of passing this headache inducing class as I have had poor grades on most of my quizzes and tests.

If anyone is able to contribute it would surely be appreciated and would help me a ton.

    This is my assignment:

I have to make a nice research paper on the following sub-topics (the main topic is applications of electromagnetics, numerical methods):

-laplace equation in rectangular coordinates; seperation of variables
-repetitive laplace solution or finite difference method
-line charge distribution: the integral equation and the moment method (MM)
    -the generalized multipole technique (GMT)
-finite difference - time domain (FD-TD) technique
    -finite element method (FEM)
-continuous wave (CW) reflections and FEM

Basically what i need is a definition, explanation, solution for each of those topics. I have to make it quite lengthy... maybe 5-8 pages. I've tried googling each of those and it's pretty confusing and all very much mixed. I have no idea how to make it organized and on point.

It would be awesome if any of you could help. It doesn't have to be perfect, just presentable. Thank you !!!

Although it could be a little late, try ask.metafilter.com.

Site's pretty solid. It's like $5 to signup and then that's it. Outstanding place to ask questions and get serious/helpful answers.

Clutchfans isn't quite the place to get help with a master's dissertation ;)

How is your rehab going btw? Will you be ready to win back the fans in Houston or do you think your career is likely over?

Check your lecture notes/textbook. The internet only goes as far as covering basic E&M.

you don't have access to IEEE or Google Scholar websites? Most universities have free access to articles through their library websites. If not, then it's time to do the research paper the old-fashioned way and hit the library ^^

    What he said!

I always found reseach papers to be easy. You just find 5-6 sources. Then all you gotta do is drag a paragraph from 1 source then grab a paragraph from another, and then just put them in order. Before you know it you have 4 or 5 pages worth of stuff. Just make sure they make sense and you reference them sources.
