So I have been dormant on these boards since just about when Cuttino got traded away. I came back because I know there are a great deal of Chinese and Chinese Americans that are active members here, and think this might actually be the best place to come for information. My cousin Amanda just qualified for the 2008 Olympics in the 470 Class Sailing. I would like to be able to see here represent the good ol US of A and was hoping to get some suggestions regarding airlines etc. I know all about tickets to the events, visas, and may have some hotel leads, but Airfare seems the biggest obsticle at this point. IF people have any suggestions I would be greatfull to hear. I would be flying out of any of the NY airports, BLD, or Boston. Thanks in advance CHEERS!
you would get a better response if you posted a picture of your cousin. also, expect to get raped on the airfare. Given that the normal price for an August return ticket to China from NY is like $1,200, expect to pay a hundred or more because of the Olympics. Find a Chinese guy and have him take you to a Chinese traveling agency in Chinatown. That's your best bet.
Holy ****...a Voice of Reason post!! Never thought I would see a post from the guy who gave me an unholy beatdown back in the day. Glad to see that you are doing okay. Someone should be able to post something helpful for you in answering your question. See ya around.
What is the problem with Airfare? There are several US airlines Northwest, United and several Chinese Airlines that can get you there. You might even try Canadian airline or Korea airline.
Actually you can get on the beltway take it to the east side of town. Get on SH90 travel East thru Dayton and Liberty. You'll get to China about 30 miles past Liberty.
