So... I'm in need of some income to help relieve some debt burden and lighten the load on my current position (I need to cut my salary back at my current job, but still need other income to make ends meet).

Anyone know of a decent, will-work-with-my-hours part time to possible full time dream job?

I can send a resume ASAP.

    Thanks in advance...

BTW- I have management experience, but will work in a lower position... just need income and favorable hours (kids in school, etc.)

Currently? Ministry (hence the need to cut back my salary, I'd rather keep a youth pastor on staff than keep taking pay myself). But I've been an office manager for different construction companies, designed websites, basic data entry... Just need some hours that yield moolah...

I know, I'm shooting in the dark here... I can shoot a resume out I guess if it would help.

Let's just say, I'm flexible... I can learn quickly, and I'm not out to take anyone's job. ;)

EDIT: I'm also very good about not mixing my weekend "occupation/calling" with the "workplace" (in other words, I won't preach at people ;) ).

Oh, and I've had extensive sales training and experience.

If I recall correctly you lives in Richardson right? Have you tried UTD? They always have some kind of office assistant job available.

A buddy of mine might be leaving his job at Richardson soon. I'll let you know what's what next time I talk to him.

    UPDATE:

Finally had an interview last Friday... went great I'd say... Said they'd had my resume a couple weeks and meant to bring me in sooner...

It's nothing big really, but the hours fit perfectly into my kids' schedule so I won't miss out being with them...

Pay is decent for the job...

I will give the good news as soon as I get it.

Should know by the end of this week... maybe next Monday.

    Man, I need this job.

I would think that $3.50 gas cuts into your profit a bit. It's not like people are tipping more out of sympathy.

    Nope.

    Got a letter.

    Filled with other people....

    Overqualified. Again.

Why can I not just get a part time flunky job?

How are your PowerPoint skillz? To a lesser degree, and in order, Excel, Photoshop and Word?

Don't want to say it's a flunky posititon, but it is an "at home" deal.

Let's just say I am good at all of them... better at Word, Photoshop and PowerPoint than Excel.

How should I put this... Ummm... I was in car stereo sales back in 2000... I sold systems that went as high as 20k... I made 10% commission... I don't have the time needed to do that type of retail again, but if I did, the company I worked for before would want me in a heart beat...

So... no... but thanks for caring enough to offer an idea.

The complication is the hours (20-25) and schedule (8 AM - 2 PM) I would need as ideal. Walmart wouldn't hire me based on similar things...

On the other hand, a "home type deal" might work... or I would just need a lucrative full time job in order to pay for child care... which I'd rather not do.

I'm just trying to make ends meet a little more, all the while paying off debt (vehicles, mortgage) as much as possible... you know... make the "down" time I have worth while, make some money, but be able to leave it at the office...
