    Hey guys...

I'm one of the moderators on www.twolvescentral.com...I'm wondering if any of you guys have seen Ebi live and what your thoughts of him are? I know he'll be a project for a while but alot of things that I have read on him point to a pretty good player.

Anyways, what are your thoughts on him?

    Thanks!

I believe it'll take a couple of seasons before he'll start blowing up. He should have went to college for a season or two, but he'll end up being a good player. He needs to add some strength to him and work on his jump shot depending on what position he is going to play.Anyway, give the kid some time so he can develop.

I heard he had a crush on this girl and asked her friend if she "liked him liked him" in class once and then they ate lunch together in the cafeteria the next day.

Well, the kid thinks he's better than LeBron and he says he is ready to contribute right away. He is cocky as hell, but everyone seems to love that about him. He's really skinny, and his jump shooting is overrated. He's much more of a slasher/quick post move guy. Much of his hype is generated from the McDonald's All-Star game when he guarded LeBron for a few minutes and did a decent job. I, for one, am a skeptic and will have to see if he works as hard as he says he does.

I played with him a couple times in pickup games and the first thing I notices was how easy he was pushed around in the paint. He had decent post moves, especially for playing with a bunch of highschoolers, but he could be pushed around. His shot is also much better than I've really heard anyone say, in fact I think he hit nearly every outside shot he took. Most of the time he used dribble penetration which he seemed pretty good at but then again he was playing against highschoolers. I'd say there's no way he'll be able to do anything defensively against NBA players since all he's really got is shot blocking ability and won't be in a position to do much shot blocking at only 200 lbs. Overall he's got a pretty decent looking game and has no real weaknesses other than size but not the dominating force you would expect (although I didn't really get to watch him during the season), but then again he hasn't really had to dominate.

You should check out the Arizona fan website for some real Ebi bashing. He screwed Lute Olson over hard. Not to mention the fact that he made Coach K fly down to Houston to visit him the day before he signed with Zona.

Brother's solid, but he's got a head the size of the Grand Canyon. Met him after one of his games last year. Only had 17, but he was talkin like he owned the world. Ah, well. don't worry twtom. KG should put him in his place.

dookiester -- you get an autograph? :D

Ebi is nothing, nothing I say. You'd be wise to send him home to Houston for a future second rounder.:D
