I'm curious as to how these casting agencies hire their associates to help out. I saw the listings for this reality show on Craigslist L.A. was that posted by an independent casting director like you, AB? I know alot of independent, rogue casting directors working for reality shows/game shows, looking for contestants. do the casting companies hire out contractors in different cities to find the the most outrageous, most interesting people for their shows, and those who deliver the interesting people get more business with the Casting Company?
Actually a friend of mine works directly for NBC and asked me to help him out, I met him during my Last Comic Standing days. I know it's not your question but I'm not making anything on this, just assisting a friend and trying to expose some of the personalities on here to something different.
