Anybody see what Randal did last night after winning the apprentice? This was from the Associated Press Trump nearly threw a monkey wrench into Thursday's proceedings. After announcing the winner, he asked Pinkett if he should also hire Jarvis. "I firmly believe this is `The Apprentice,'" Pinkett replied. "That there is one and only `Apprentice' and if you're going to hire someone tonight, it should be one." Trump said he "could have been convinced," but opted to agree with Pinkett and "leave it at that." Lots of outrage from the fans. There is even a website www.firerandal.com lol ONLY IN AMERICA!
I could not believe what he did. I would have tried to convice Trump to hire her. He already won the job why not give her a chance. I thought he should have won but after watching his display I wish she would have won instead.
First reaction is that Randal did not want someone stealing his spotlight, but Randall came across as extremely authentic in his actions over the weeks that the show was being filmed. The other contestants loved him, he was the real deal Holyfield in everyone's eyes. But after thinking about it for a few minutes I had a change of heart and thought that Randal's words were not the end of the world for the runner up who did not get the job. Trump really put Randal on the spot. Especially after that one lady (whatever the 3rd best Apprentice name was) ripped Jarvis (the other Apprentice finalist besides Randal). Trump should have just made a decision himself, it is not like Randal is in #1 Human Resources go to person for the Trump organization. He is the new Apprentice. Trump needs to make a decision himself on if he really wants Jarvis running that other high profile job considering all the not so positive feedback that she got from the other contestants.
My response from the other thread... If I was Trump, I would've fired him right there. It was an obviously selfish move on Randal's part not to recommend to Trump to hire her. If she was as great as they all thought, it would've been better for the company as a whole to hire her as well. What was up with those two blonde b****es acting like they had just won the Super Bowl after Randal won? Did that girl do something to the both of them? They were jumping up and down after Trump announced Randal was hired, then when he asked Randal if Rebecca (is that her name?) should be hired to, it looked like they were about to start crying.
It's "Apprentice", not "Apprenti." There can be only one. Randal is a MIT grad, with graduate work at Cambridge. Not to mention, he's a Rhodes Scholar, and runs his own multi-million dollar consulting company. This was a runaway decision in Randal's favor. If Trump wanted to hire Rebecca, he would have done so himself. Why would Randal want to share the spotlight, when he's come so far?
Is Apprenti even a word? I thought the plural for apprentice is apprenti(CES) No one is questioning his education, hell his education even beats Trump's. What about his class, intergrity, and values? In 2 seconds after his response, he just defined his perception. Nobody is gonna remember his education or the tasks he did, or the 3 victories as project manager. Everyone is going to remember him as the guy who looked like an ******* on National TV.
