guess they don't trust their bigs, the 2nd best center in the WNBA and Diop. Them signing him is just in case the Rox make it to the 2nd round.

I saw him on "Pros vs. Joes" a few weeks back and he is still in good shape. I'm not saying he's in basketball shape or that he can actually contribute but he is definitely still doing something to keep fit.

I'm sure Avery is just looking for six fouls for Duncan, Yao and Amare.

I think we should counter with a Charles Oakley signing.

Old news. Avery said he wanted another big man to use in foul situations and in an emergency. You have one extra roster spot for the playoffs and you need to address your weakest position. You don't just go up and pick any 7 footer in the market, you need someone proven. It's a great move and there is nothing more to it, even if he plays a total of 5 minutes in the entire playoffs.

Kevin Willis is one tough mother****er.

Too bad he had short arms.

he stepped in for Charles, and did a hell of a good job

Wow, I didn't think about that. Scottie said he wanted to come back, and didn't get a shot. Now Kevin Willis gets to come back? There's your Top 50 player treatment, right there! :D

They talked about signing him before the injury. Dampier just played on Friday.

I think it's why they went ahead and gave him a 10-day.

Oh yeah that makes sense. But they were going to sign him on Monday after he passes his physical.
