NBA Hardwood Classic - Houston Rockets vs. Orlando Magic - NBA Finals Game 1
    MIDNIGHT CENTRAL

I think they are showing it now also, but it will rerun tonight at midnight.

For people who hate Kenny Smith, watch this and suffer.

Where is the point guard? At 6'8" Shane can get some minutes at PF but who would play center in a small line up? Mutombo is 7'1" and Yao is 7'5" and neither are that quick so there isn't really a point in playing a small line up. Besides Shane is best at playing SF and T-Mac is best at playing SG

Thanks for the heads-up. This was a GREAT game. IIRC, The Glyde had over 10 boards, Kenny shot like 7-10 from downtown, and Horry had some rediculous number of blocks.

Shaq got shut the f**k down in OT, it was beautiful.

    Sick game, I'll be watchin'!!

Clyde averaged almost 10 boards that series! Him and Hakeem were the perfect 1-2 punch that year. Smith, Cassell and Horry were perfect role players too.

this is why the Rockets championships were so good, it was different heroes each night, not just Dream.

some people just want Superman, why? the Rockets are the JUSTICE LEAGUE!!

I don't know about the "greatness" of the game, but it was definitely the most memorable for me. The rise and fall in emotion during the last few seconds of regulation was just amazing.

And had any other NBA player ever suffered in his career like Nick Anderson after those FTs? Dude was traumatized by that experience.

this game never gets old. ive seen it like 20 times on espn classic and nbatv, but i watch it every time its on. watching nick anderson choke his little carreer away is just priceless. i just wish they would show game 4 when the crowd busted out the brooms on shaq and penny. priceless, too bad ive been holding on to that memory for about 12 years now, waiting for number 3.

I thought we had the moment we got Pippen. Pippen, Barkley and Hakeem should have been enough to win a championship.
