Hey ya'll, give me your top 3 and why. Here's mine. 1. Allen Iverson - Even though he does get beat up (sometimes), he is constantly in the refs ear. He gets all the calls and is continously whining, even when doesn't get touched. That pisses me off, poor KT can't get a call when he's harassed, but this guy is still whining even when he's on the line shooting 2. 2. Vlade Divac - any whistle on Vlade is a crime (according to him). Even if his handprint is on the players arm, Vlade will swear on his life that he is innocent. 3. Karl Malone - Maybe one of the dirtiest players ever, and still has the nerves to whine to the officials. Malone thows elbows and kicks on a regular basis and never gets called for it. But if he even obviously hacks someone he yells at the officials and gives them a "Im gonna whoop you" look. Insanely, it works! Honerable Mention: Cuttino Mobley - I gotta, uh, go...
Iverson cries but he does almost get fouled every time he takes it to the hoop. On the other hand Malone and Vlade flop on defense and then complains on the other end when they don't get a call. I dislike those two players more than anyone else in the NBA.
Vlade Divac- You can always count on Vlade to raise his arms in a plea of innocence everytime the whistle is blown. He, with honorable mentions to Reggie Miller and John Stockton, is the biggest flopper in the game, but hey, who gets into Shaq's head more than this guy? Rasheed Wallace- The guy is a headcase. How many times can he break his own technical fouls record?
Rasheed Wallace wins it hands down. Nobody cries as much as he does. He throws temper tantrums like a 2 year old. Vlade and Karl Malone are downright awful. Vince Carter is pretty bad too.
Just out of curiousity, how many umpired have actually changed their call because of whiners??? I can understand showing emotion at what may look like a bad call, but whining about it does absolutley nothing.
Rasheed Wallace!!! How can a player get kicked out of a game for staring??? Also, Cat has only been fined once for complaining abou the Refs, he doesn't deserve to be up there in that category... he isn't nearly as bad as well... anyone on the Kings team.
Cassell is at the top of the list. Anytime he misses a shot, he looks at the ref, while his man goes on a fast break. Cat is definitely up there. Cat doesn't b**** to the media all that much (which explains why he doesn't get fined by the NBA often), but on the court, he b****es a lot, justified or not.
Biggest ref whiners? Well, you can count all of the Trailblazers, Iverson (although he often has some logical reasoning behind his complaints), Vlade Divac and, sadly enough, Mobley also whines a lot too.
Someone should start a thread about non whiners because there are a lot less of them in the NBA. I shocks me when I see a player not complain. I almost wish I had recorded it so I can see it again.
