Thought I'd add this thread to complement the SCHN+ thread.

You have to scroll down to find the single team plans:
    https://www.nba.com/league-pass-purchase

    It's $16.99 for all teams

This is for 1 device only vs Premium, which is 3 devices. I assume it's their website + 1 device, but maybe I'm wrong. Desktop could count as a device. Also you don't get in-arena entertainment during breaks. You get commercials, fwiw.

btw the nationally televised games are only blacked-out "until 6:00am Eastern" per NBA website.

Doesn't work for me for the Rockets in Austin.

I have had NBA LP for years - and last year I switched from buying it on NBA.com to buying it on YouTube - it worked great on YouTube, but you couldn't link up on the NBA.com site, they struggled for months to get that bridge working.

Then this year Amazon bought it, I decided to try Amazon. purchased it there, but it doesn't allow me to watch the Rockets games at all, but weirdly, I can watch them all on NBA.com

The Nationally televised games are always blacked out on platforms - just watch them on YouTubeTV or whatever you have.....

I am leery of this Space City Network as it shows grayed out around Austin......this is just a nightmare for fans, find something that works for you and stick with it.

I bought Google Chrome cast devices so I could have NBA.com on all my TVs.....including my outdoor projector.

I have the whole league package before this offer was promoted and it isn’t showing games when they are nationally televised including on Prime

It's generally a pretty good deal if you're outside the blackout area. It does get annoying at playoff time because a lot of the games aren't on there. You could always pay for a month or two of fubo or whatever during the playoffs I guess, depending how deep the Rockets get into the postseason.

A student/.edu email gets you league pass for $9.99 for one team for those eligible (I’m a grad school professor for example).

Maybe you're right about Amazon. I might be confusing the ability to link NBALP accounts to Amazon as ability to watch any game, including their exclusive ones. So, I'll edit the title. Probably even with linking, the exclusives are blacked-out.

    thx

I have this added to my Slingtv service and other than the blacked out games, it’s great. For the price u just can’t beat it. Love that for just a couple $ more u can watch all teams.

Yeah, if you have Prime, you can link your account to watch via LP and avoid the blackout restriction…

Astros games are absolutely not blacked out in Austin.

Well, they probably are on NBALP

This is almost exactly the same experience I've had as a rockets fan in San Antonio. I also have youtubetv to watch all the nationally televised games, also had league pass through youtubetv which I loved. However I do have it through amazon prime for this season and it works just fine for me, not quite sure why it doesn't work for you in Austin. The interface on amazon prime is really terrible, though, just a much worse experience in every way compared to youtube tv.

...or are you sayng you are NOW blacked as previously you were not?

I don’t know why you’re having so many issues. I’ve never had blackout issues for Rockets in Austin. That’s with cable, directly from NBA.com, and now with prime.

do you use a VPN on the device you’re being blocked on? I sometimes have to clear cookies/cache for it to realize where my actual location is.

Youtubetv no longer offers league pass, unfortunately. Totally agree on the dvr. I think Amazon bought exclusive rights to league pass, so if you want league pass now you have to buy it through Amazon.
